Phaneuf Équipements agricoles is looking for a Human Resources Director interested in playing a key role in a family business serving agriculture. If you are passionate about human resources issues, enthusiastic about teamwork and have management experience, we want to meet you.

As a Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of the company’s Human Resources department.

Your role:

  • Do the planning and organize all human resources activities and projects
  • Supervision the pay and RH team
  • Monitor human resources trends in order to develop or modify corporate policies in accordance with best market practices and applicable laws
  • Advise and support managers in the application of existing policies and procedures
  • Participation in management meetings and actively contribute to the company’s strategic planning.

As an ideal candidate, you have:

  • University training in human resources or equivalent
  •  Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations: OHS, Labour Standards, Payroll Compliance, Immigration, etc.
  • Experience in international recruitment and immigration processes, an asset
  • Knowledge of an electronic time management system (Synerion) and Employer D, an asset
  •  Excellent judgment and analytical skills
  •  Ability to handle complex situations and deadlines
  • Excellent written and spoken French
