Your role as a technical advisor:

  • Provide courteous and professional customer service (telephone and counter)
  • Propose and sell adequate preventive and curative maintenance services
  • Inspect equipment, recommend required actions and estimate costs
  • Verify and determine the work to be done under warranty
  • Collaborate with the sales department when selling equipment or machinery
  • Open work orders for the mechanical department and plan the schedule in collaboration with the workshop supervisor
  • Provide follow-up of files and keep clients informed throughout the process
  • Occasionally work on a Saturday morning

As an ideal candidate, you have :

  • DEP in technical advice in vehicle maintenance and repair, in a related field or experience deemed equivalent
  • mechanical, hydraulic and electromechanical knowledge
  • knowledge of the agricultural environment, machinery, tractors and related products, an asset
  • strong customer service and sales skills
  • good memory
  • good knowledge of informatic tools
